Preparing for the visit in London

Before the visit in London the students of Zespół Szkół Uzdrowiskowych were very busy. They prepared the bookmarks for the British students and the older students with their educators - small glass paintings for our partner schools. They packed everything very carefully and said good bye to our mascot - Hadwalunia.
See some pictures.

Watersamples from a swamp

Otava school's third class made a trip into forest nearby. In the forest there is a little swamp. There pupils took watersamples which other classes are going to research afterwards. Water wasn't everything we found. From the swamp we found also cranberries so everyone got a taste of bitter wildberry. We also had our lunch by the fire. Of course we fried some sausages.

Romania - getting ready for weather report

As soon as we came back from the London meeting, we spoke to the pupils about the WIKI "weather journal" and we formed some groups who would be in charge of this activity. Right in front of the school they have put the rain measuring devices and the thermometre. The physics/chemistry teacher, Viorica Cortojan explained to the students how, how often and when to measure the temperature and the quantity of precipitations.
What if it rains at night and especially if it pours? We could approximate, I suppose. Or search other "sources".
